GLOBALink FTP Settings

The following guidelines have been developed to help you connect to your Webhosting account.


Security Policy

Here are the new rules of security for the GLOBALink Webhosting services:

The FTP protocol is not allowed anymore. Please connect using SSH/SFTP protocol instead.

Your webspace is not dedicated to your personal or private data (pictures, videos,...)

We offer 200Mb of webspace. If you overrun this quota, your account might be suspended. Ask our team if you need more.

Your website must be relative to a local association or organisation acting in tobacco control.


Connection Settings

As a good, free of charge, easy to use SFTP software, we suggest you get CoreFTP. Below is a quick description of the right configuration you should use to connect to your GLOBALink Webspace:

Server: ftp.globalink.org

Protocol: SSH/SFTP (port 22)



The first time you connect to your account, you get the following warning message.
Just click "Yes" to accept GLOBALink in your list of trusted hosts:
